Abstract
Because publishers often only allow a particular version of an author's article to be posted to an institutional repository, it can be very helpful to educate librarians and faculty members about what the different versions are and suggest naming conventions for keeping track of them all. The VERSIONS Toolkit provides tips and suggestions for both faculty and librarians for dealing with multiple versions of articles as well as a brief discussion of publishing agreements.
