Abstract

We often talk about the benefits of open-access publishing in terms of readership, measured by download counts. With over 350,000 downloads over the past 3 years, theAustralian Journal of Teacher Education certainly reflects that story. But AJTE’s experience also demonstrates a virtuous circle leading to more submissions, a higher quality and quantity of published articles, and a greater international impact. In this webinar, Julia Gross, Janice Chan, and Tony Fetherston of Edith Cowan University talk about the library and Research Online’s role in making this growth possible.
