This poster was part of a series of promotional efforts to encourage participants in George Washington University's annual Research Days event to submit their posters and presentations to the Himmelfarb Health Sciences Library repository. We outlined the benefits of self-archiving your works in a repository, appealing to students' desire for a durable URL to showcase their accomplishments. We also emphasized that the archiving service was free of charge.

To make submission easier for this series, we removed all the non-applicable metadata fields from the submission form and left only those that were required for these posters. Response to outreach effort has been positive; we have received more submissions than in previous years, and several students have told us how much they appreciate this service.

Poster designed by Catherine Sluder, Himmelfarb Health Sciences Library. Gisela Butera and Meaghan Corbett coordinated outreach efforts.
